Couple dancing. Lithograph printed on tan wove newsprint-type paper. Signed in pencil & in the stone. 14 3/8 x 19." Sheet Size, 19 x13" Image Size. Rudolf Bauer (1889-1953) executed his prints from 1915-c.1930. Only a few are dated; some can be dated from contemporary catalogues and other publications. When Bauer emigrated to America from Germany, he brought the prints with him. Most of them were neither exhibited nor sold, and remained in his estate. This print is approximately from an edition of 100.
