Etching and Aquatint on vélin de Rive paper. Image Dim: cm 20 x 24, Sheet Dim: cm 29 x 44, Passepartout Dim: cm 34 x 49. Signed on plate “J. F. Millet” right-lower.
Wonderful artwork by the French engraver Marcel Roux. On the in right-lower margin “Marcel Roux sculp.”, and in left-lower “J.F. Millet pinx”. Edition of 650 prints. In Excellent condition.

Every pack a magical marvel, filled with the spirit of this genius card maker … All this he did using his Adana printing press, very simple hand tools and great skill. When Karl closed down his studio in St.Peter’s Terrace in Bath, England and moved to Poplar Close, he sold off work for which he felt he no longer wanted to be the custodian.
