Kimmie B
High Tide

About the Item

ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Kimmie B is a designer and artist based in New York City. She creates bold and graphic shapes with organic lines and inspirational colors. Kimmie makes each form from scratch, starting with a rectangle with rounded corners, transforming each into its shape by pulling and creating curves, finding the perfect balance between positive and negative space. Calling on memories of sunny summer days, fabrics, new landscapes from travel, and her favorite nail polishes, each artwork title exudes what came to mind when she created the hue. Hang one of these colorful shapes on its own, hang two side by side, or (the artist's favorite) hang multiple pieces together in a grid or varied gallery wall. From neutral grays to pastels and vibrant colors, these pieces are intended to be mixed and matched to find the perfect fit for your space. ADDITIONAL SIZES AND FRAMING: Additional sizes are available. Please inquire for more information on larger sizes. We offer fully archival professional framing for all prints for an additional cost. Framing is available in white, black or natural wood and prints can be framed either with or without a mat board. We also offer face mounting to plexiglas. Please inquire for pricing and more details on our framing. PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

  • Sweet Candy
    By Ruth Adler
    Located in New York, NY
ABOUT THIS PIECE: Color is the foundation of this Canadian artist's work. Her circles start as a mood or idea that eventually evolve into a colored circle. She is curious how different colors interact when they're placed next to each other. Within a digital medium she experiments with intensity of colors and the different sensations colors evoke. Why a circle? When she explores her fascination with this shape, she discovers that the circle represents all that is familiar and comforting. It is the shape of the rising sun, of a mother's nipple, of the iris of the eye, and of a full moon. ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Ruth Adler is a Canadian artist whose mediums include paintings, works on paper, animated films and textiles. She is inspired by the city of Tel Aviv, music (she plays the harmonica) and her personal memories. Jim Kempner Fine Art...
