Geoff Reinhard
Geoff Reinhard is a photographer and producer based in New York City.
Originally from Chicago, Reinhard has a degree in architecture from the University of Southern California and attended the prestigious Portfolio Center in Atlanta. He began his creative career in advertising in São Paulo, Brazil, eventually arriving on Madison Avenue, where he created award winning multi-media campaigns for clients including HBO, Nike, Grey Goose, Tommy Hilfiger, Johnson & Johnson and the City of New York.
With an eye for design and a passion for the visual medium, Reinhard’s travels to Guatemala in 2007 with renowned photographer Phil Borges helped cultivate his passion for photography while he mentored children of Santiago de Atitlán in the art of digital storytelling. His travels to South Africa in 2009 with Pulitzer Prize–winning photojournalist David Turnley resulted in a series of bold and vibrant images that tell the story of the local surf culture on the beaches of Cape Town.
As a visual storyteller, Reinhard’s experiences in both photojournalism and advertising have greatly influenced his photographic style. His work balances pop culture and real moments resulting in a colorful body of work that illustrates an awareness of the mundane, a whimsical wink and an underlying sense of humor.
Reinhard is a contributing photographer for Hamptons magazine and his work is part of private collections in New York City, the Hamptons, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Boston, London and Switzerland. He splits his time between Manhattan and his studio in East Hampton.

- Vietnam B-52By Phillip BuehlerLocated in New York, NY24"x30" will photograph, signed and editioned on reverse. (edition of 5) This photograph is from a series entitled, “(UN)THINKABLE,” the culmination of 25 years of Phillip Buehler’s work photographing remnants of the Cold War throughout the United States and Europe. Buehler has visited NATO airbases, Cape Canaveral, the Airplane Graveyard, missile bunkers and silos (even within New York City’s borders) among many other sites that are historic, and yet hidden, forbidden, and forgotten. Photographs from this series will be featured in a solo exhibition this September at the Front Room Gallery. For anyone growing up during the Cold War the sense of dread of the world’s annihilation was all to concrete. It was evidenced in films like “Dr. Strangelove” and “The Day After.” Everyone knew the U.S. had enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 5 times over, and assumed something similar about the Russians. For those not old enough to remember this built in fear, don’t worry (worry) it is reawakening. We don’t need another Cuban Missile Crisis to push us to the brink, the renewed tension with the Russians, and now North Korea’s recent entry in the nuclear weapons club is more than enough to unnerve anyone who is watching these conflicts unfold. Phillip Buehler is watching closely. Through this comprehensive series Buehler’s photos show many aspects of this non-war war. In Buehler’s aerial photographs from a military airplane storage yard in Arizona the repetition of the same model of bomber aircraft are so abstractly pattern-based that the overall effect beginnings to feel like a Middle Eastern...Category

They had come back to our time to study trees and invited me to document their research. Apparently they knew I would say yes. Twice now our trips have coincided, almost as if they knew where and when I would be going on holiday, and I must admit, I hope our paths cross again, as I find them strangely photogenic." - George McLeod...Category
