Josep Miquel Serrano, of a Santander family, was born in Barcelona in 1912 and died in Sitges in 1982. Serrano has been the painter of flowers and still lifes, but his quality as a draftsman was evident on multiple occasions when he dedicated himself especially to painting nudes Of both sexes, alone or as a couple.
