About the Item
Square composition made in acrylic paint and oil pastel on linen canvas in the street art style graffiti imitating the wall of a house in the centre of Barcelona. Diversity and bright colors with a predominance of red, blue, purple, turquoise and yellow. The work is not covered with glossy varnish, signed on both sides and ready for hanging. Does not require registration in the frame. Ideal for minimalist, loft, modern and eclectic interiors.
One day I got lost in the Gothic Quarter in its labyrinth full of cold and pictorial walls. From then on this fantastic world began to accompany me and continues to accompany me until now.
This world is much more of graffiti, drawings or personal opinions that express with a rather special sense of humor or declare some social position. Yes and no, all and none of that.
Street art is always an adventure, it is a real risk, it is not only literally a danger but the risk of finding oneself. It is an exterior experience as well as an interior one, because the things of the street stimulate your self-investigation.
This type of art is very curious because it is actually a bridge between the artist and society, art and reality, the home and the street. In addition, my paintings are not only philosophical but also therapeutic because they invite healing from various fears.
The voice of the street asks you in a very special way. It is a part of some energetic expression.

Olga Afanasiadi was born in 1988 in Russia. For over 6 years now, I have been imbibing Spanish-speaking culture and this greatly influences my creative expression. My art is at the intersection of primitivism, street art and verbal symbols. I myself define my works as a play of visual and verbal symbols, and I use them in order to convey to the viewer the sensations and atmosphere of everyday life, permeated with the culture of Spain and sometimes Latin America. I consider my other works as reflections on the theme of "metaphysics of being." They are about how to stop and feel the magic of the moment. Sometimes I use repeating symbols, but each time they discover a new meaning or complement some new statement. I like the idea of drawing my inspiration from the streets of Barcelona - this is an amazing city, “la ciudad de las maravillas”; it has a unique energy, creativity, freedom and a lot of what I try to convey in my works. Olga participated in the following exhibitions and projects in different countries of the world: WorldArtDubai international art fair, representative - CrisolArtGallery (Spain, Barcelona), the international art fair Carouselle du Louvre, representative of the ArtEspaces gallery (Belgium, Brussels), the Flower Power international project (Netherlands, Paris, Brussels), representative of the ArtEspaces gallery (Belgium, Brussels), the international project "To Spain with Love" - independent exhibition: "ART WEEK in SPAIN” with the participation The International Union of Curators with the support of the World Fund of Arts, Eurasian Art Union, Arte Sin Fronteras and ImaginArte Gallery, Russia Art Week (Eurasian Art Union, “Congress Hall "Danilovsky" - Moscow, Russia)

Brown uses his interest in fashion as well as his knowledge of color, design, and culture as inspiration for his paintings. The loss of friends to violence and incarceration, combined with the loss of a family member to gang violence pushed Brown to use art as a source of therapy and to project a positive inspiring image for his community. Brown’s art coalesces youth culture, art history, fashion, and American consumerism and melds them all to create his unique style. Instantly relatable and recognizable, his cathartic paintings represent contemporary issues as well as a demographic that is traditionally underrepresented in fine art. His works speak to young Americans and inspire a whole new generation of art collectors and admirers. Since 2016, Daniel Brown...Category
