About the Artist
Steven Guy Bilodeau prefers to create his works in one session, so that he can hold on to the emotional connection between himself and a piece. He often works en plein air and was originally inspired by early California painters called The Society of Six. He currently lives in California and admires the work of Edward Hopper and Maynard Dixon. When he’s not painting, he plays classical guitar and sells antiques.
