About the Item

'Rainy Spring' shows contrasting colors that are often seen on a rainy spring day, with the dark blues and greens sitting in the back and brighter yellows and pinks on the foreground. With the placement of these colors, it moves the viewer's eye down the path to look further into the deep background. The artist's brushstrokes almost give the illusion that it just rained on the landscape and there is an airy feel to it. Pam Folsom a Cincinnati native is nationally known for her vibrant, energetic oil paintings of familiar scenes, depicting everything from the rolling farmland of the Midwest to the beaches of Florida’s coast. Her award-winning works have appeared in numerous juried group, two-person, and solo exhibitions. Pam’s paintings appear in private collections internationally, as well as corporate collections. Pam is currently represented by Gingerbread Square Gallery in Key West, Florida; The Eisele Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio; and B. Deemer in Louisville, Kentucky; and had gallery representation in Mary Bell Gallery, Chicago, Illinois; and Gallery on Merchants Square, Williamsburg, Virginia.
