The Adoration of the Shepherds
Oil on canvas
The present work bares close similarity to a painting of the same name in the collection of the Museo del Prado, Madrid. Painted by El Greco to hang over his tomb in the convent of Santo Domingo el Antiguo in Toledo, which is considered to be the artist's last known work.
