English artist Jonjo Elliot's large scale still life works are a collision of expressionistic fauvism and his collections encourage a youthful candor. He’s interested in the crossover point between abstract and representational art and is constantly exploring where painting can take him and the viewer as a means of expression. A graduate of De Montfort University, he now manages a studio in Leicester. Jonjo's immersive and lively artworks are collected extensively in the UK, the US, and throughout the world. Elise Remender captures the romantic glamour of a bygone era in her contemporary figurative paintings that blend classical fine art and contemporary pop realism. It evokes a bygone era when Ernest Hemingway and Jackie O. were among the clientele. “I’m a bit of an old soul and there is a sense of elegance and beauty that has been lost in modern-day society, and I seek to recapture this essence in my work. I’m creating a sort of fantasy world of luxury, leisure, and old Hollywood glamour.” Her work has appeared in galleries in the US and Asia and in GQ Magazine, Architectural Digest, Dwell, California Home, People, among many other publications.
