"Octopus's Garden" " is a large-scale modern abstract. Simple organic forms in rich colors express the vibrancy of an aquatic landscape. Its white, blue, coral, and green palette is calming yet energetic. Underpainted in blue, cool beauty radiates from its deepest layer. Its overall feeling suggests buoyancy and life. Full size is 60H x 122W inches, leaving ample canvas to stretch on deep stretcher bars to its 54H x 116W x 2D image as shown. It is signed on the back and ships in a tube. This is especially safe for oversized works. Rolled canvas can be easily stretched (placed onto wooden stretcher bars) by a local framer upon arrival.

Her work is held in private, corporate, and public collections in the U.S. and abroad. In addition to art collectors, she's licensed work to designers and consultants for projects large and small. Trained in studio art, landscape architecture, and graphic design, Michelle Louis works full-time as an artist in Middleton, Wisconsin. Her studio extends to her yard, where she nurtures an edible landscape that includes 8 kinds of berries.
