Nude is a Pastel Drawing realized by Georges Gobo (1876-1958). Good condition on a yellowed paper. Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Georges Gobo or Georges Gobô , pseudonym of Georges Gobeau , born on June 19 , 1876 in San Francisco and died on July 6 , 1958 (aged 82) in Rezé , is a French painter , illustrator , lithographer and engraver , member of the Society of French Painters-Engravers . Georges Gobeau becomes an apprentice with a lithographer printer in Angoulême. He is passionate about drawing , lithography , watercolor and painting . However, it is in France between his residences of Douarnenez in Brittany and that of Angers in Anjou that he finds his artistic inspiration. He produced numerous lithographs, etchings (including six etchings of the city of Parthenay ), wash drawings, drawings and paintings. He also traveled to Saint-Jean de Luz and Auvergne , where he regularly intervened at the famous Ecole de Murol.
