The engaging drama, based on a true incident in Edwardian-era England, was directed by Glen Byam Shaw, starred Frank Allenby & Madge Compton (not shown) and ran 10/29/47 - 05/01/48, for 214 performances. The four depicted are Michael Kingsley, George Benson, Betty Sinclair & Owen Holder in the title role. This drawing appeared in the New York Herald Tribune during the run, includes clipping. Cutrone's paintings are colorful, lively, and less challenging than those of his contemporaries.
